AMENDMENTS TO HOUSE BILL NO. 1540

Amend Bill, page 1, line 5, by inserting after "thereto,""
in preliminary provisions, providing for school personnel
residency; and,
Amend Bill, page 1, lines 13 through 16, by striking out all
of said lines and inserting
Section 1. The act of March 10, 1949 (P.L.30, No.14), known
as the Public School Code of 1949, is amended by adding a
section to read:
Section 130. School Personnel Residency.--All school
personnel employed by a school district must establish a
permanent residency and reside within the boundaries of the
school district for the duration of their employment.
Section 2. Section 1549.1(g) and (m) introductory paragraph
of the act are amended and the section is amended by adding a
subsection to read:
