"Conduct random audits of lifeline scholarship" in line 17 and
all of line 18 and inserting
Conduct an audit of each lifeline scholarship account at
least once during a two-year period.

Section 2012-L. Legislative Budget and Finance Committee
report.
The Legislative Budget and Finance Committee shall prepare
and submit to the General Assembly a report on the progress of
the program. The report shall include the number of applications
received for the program, the number of applications approved
for the program, the number of lifeline scholarship accounts
terminated early, the number of lifeline scholarship accounts
investigated for fraud, the number of prosecutions from the
investigations and other pertinent information the Legislative
Budget and Finance Committee deems helpful for the General
Assembly and the department. The report shall be submitted two
years after the first lifeline scholarship account is
established.
