AMENDMENTS TO HOUSE BILL NO. 1680

Amend Bill, page 2, line 17, by striking out "may consider
whether" and inserting
shall consider whether the renewal policy provides types and
limits of coverage that are substantially similar to those
contained in the policy being superseded and whether
Amend Bill, page 2, lines 18 and 19, by striking out
"determining whether the proposed changes are in the public
interest," and inserting
making this determination,
Amend Bill, page 3, line 21, by inserting after "be"
in twelve-point font and
Amend Bill, page 3, line 30, by striking out the period after
"policy" and inserting
, including, but not limited to, specifying how the change
decreases coverage and to what extent.
Amend Bill, page 4, by inserting between lines 13 and 14
(g) Any filing approved by the Insurance Department under
this section shall be posted on the publicly accessible Internet
website of the Insurance Department no later than seven days
after approval and shall remain available on that website for
one year after the renewal effective date of the filing.
