Amend Bill, page 2, lines 5 through 8, by striking out all of
said lines and inserting
(7) Subsection (a)(1) and (2) shall not apply to a
municipal-owned, three-axle motor vehicle if each nonsteering
axle does not carry an excess of 24,000 pounds or an overall
gross weight of 66,000 pounds. This paragraph shall not be
applicable to interstate highways except for a highway added
to the interstate system under the National Highway System
Designation Act of 1995. Movement under this paragraph is not
authorized upon a bridge posted under section 4902.
