"Only facilities that" in line 11 and all of lines 12 through 14
and inserting
All facilities are expected to follow necessary precautions
outlined by the Federal and State Government. The secretary may
temporarily limit essential caregiver visits while a facility
comes into compliance with safety measures. A facility may have
visitors only if the facility has the capability to employ rapid
testing for all staff, visitors and residents, and has adequate
and consistent access to personal protective equipment for all
staff as a requirement for essential caregivers.

The facility must allow each resident to designate the
resident's choice of one or more essential caregivers and a
facility that utilizes care plans must use the person-centered
service planning process to identify each resident's designated
caregiver. The following shall apply:
(1) The facility executive director or a designee shall
process requests for essential caregivers from a resident or
the resident's representatives.
