inserting

Amend Bill, page 2, lines 7 through 20, by striking out "Upon
the expiration of a" in line 7 and all of lines 8 through 20 and
inserting
(1) A person shall have an additional 30 days to take
the action or make the payment required under section 1533(a)
or (b) after either of the following, whichever occurs first:
(i) The expiration of the declared judicial
emergency under subsection (a).
(ii) The judicial district establishes a method by
which the action or payment may be commenced by rule of
court or other judicial order during the declared
judicial emergency.
(iii) The effective date of the judicial emergency
if the judicial district has established a method by
which the action or payment may be commenced by rule of
court or other judicial order prior to such effective
date.
(2) If a person takes the action or makes the payment
required under section 1533(a) or (b) within the additional
30-day periods specified under paragraph (1)(i), (ii) or
(iii), the person shall be deemed in compliance with section
1533(a) or (b).
(c) Applicability.--
(1) This section shall apply to any judicial district
for which a judicial emergency is declared. If a Statewide

judicial emergency is declared, this section shall apply to
all judicial districts.
(2) This section shall be retroactive to March 18, 2020.
