AMENDMENTS TO HOUSE BILL NO. 1758

Amend Bill, page 1, lines 7 and 8, by striking out all of
said lines and inserting
Section 1. Section 1956(b) of Title 75 of the Pennsylvania
Consolidated Statutes is amended to read:
Amend Bill, page 1, line 18; page 2, line 1; by striking out
all of said lines on said pages and inserting
(2) The Pennsylvania State Police shall establish a
process by which a volunteer fire company or a volunteer
ambulance company may obtain the necessary information or
documentation for insurance purposes only at no cost to the
volunteer fire company or volunteer ambulance company.
Section 1.1. Section 3751(b)(1) of the act is amended and
the subsection is amended by adding a paragraph to read:

Amend Bill, page 2, line 22, by inserting after "companies"
for insurance purposes only
Amend Bill, page 2, by inserting between lines 23 and 24
(6) Nothing under this subsection shall be construed to
prohibit a local police department from waiving the cost for
a volunteer fire company or a volunteer ambulance company
that requests a copy of a report under this subsection for
insurance billing purposes.
