AMENDMENTS TO HOUSE BILL NO. 1170

Amend Bill, page 10, by inserting between lines 17 and 18
Section 8. Notice of appropriation.
Upon the initial, separate appropriation to the department of
sufficient funds to establish a separate office to enforce this
act, the Secretary of Labor and Industry shall transmit notice
of the appropriation to the Legislative Reference Bureau for
publication in the Pennsylvania Bulletin.
Amend Bill, page 10, line 18, by striking out "8" and
inserting

Amend Bill, page 10, line 19, by striking out "JULY 1, 2020."
and inserting
as follows:
(1) Section 8 of the act and this section shall take
effect immediately.
(2) The remainder of this act shall take effect upon
publication of the notice under section 8.
