Amend Bill, page 1, line 4, by inserting after "composition"
and for report to the Governor and the General Assembly
Amend Bill, page 1, lines 7 through 9, by striking out all of
said lines and inserting
Section 1. Sections 4(4) and 9(a) of the act of June 12,
2018 (P.L.136, No.28), known as the Pennsylvania Commission for
the United States Semiquincentennial Act, are amended to read:
Amend Bill, page 2, by inserting between lines 15 and 16
Section 9. Report to the Governor and the General Assembly.
(a) Duty to submit.--Not later than [one year] two years
after the effective date of this section, the commission shall
submit to the Governor and the General Assembly a comprehensive
report that includes the specific recommendations of the
commission for the commemoration of the 250th anniversary of the
founding of the United States and related events.
