AMENDMENTS TO HOUSE BILL NO. 1659

Amend Bill, page 2, by inserting between lines 19 and 20
( d) The department shall provide notice to adult recipients
on the date of annual renewal that:
(1) the recipient's eligibility for food assistance will be
terminated if the recipient fails to meet the requirements under
subsection (b); and
(2) locations where assistance is available to recipients in
meeting the requirements under subsection (b).
The department shall provide electronically to county assistance
offices a form notice.
(e) Eligibility for food assistance shall be terminated
three months after notice under subsection (d) if the recipient
fails to comply with the requirements under subsection (b).
