AMENDMENTS TO HOUSE BILL NO. 968

Amend Bill, page 1, line 12, by striking out ""income."" and
inserting
"income" and providing for the definition of "Social Security
substitute pension."
Amend Bill, page 1, line 18, by inserting after "amended"
and the section is amended by adding a definition
Amend Bill, page 2, lines 25 through 30; page 3, lines 1
through 5; by striking out all of said lines on said pages and
inserting
(iv) Social Security substitute pensions for
calendar years prior to 2018 and 50% of Social Security
substitute pensions for calendar years 2018 and
thereafter. The amount of a Social Security substitute
pension shall not exceed the maximum Federal old age and
survivor benefit payments, less any Federal old age and
survivor benefit payments received under the Social
Security Act for employment covered under the Social
Security Act.
Amend Bill, page 3, by inserting between lines 23 and 24
"Social Security substitute pension." A pension that is
provided in lieu of old age and survivor benefit payments under
the Social Security Act (49 Stat. 620, 42 U.S.C. ยง 301 et seq.)
to a person whose employment was not covered under the Social
Security Act.
Amend Bill, page 3, line 24, by striking out "in 60 days" and
inserting
