Amend Bill, page 4, by inserting between lines 11 and 12
(f.1) Expiration.--Each mandatory minimum penalty under this
section shall expire (the Legislative Reference Bureau shall
insist here, in lieu of this statement, the date that is five
years after the effective date of this subsection). After (the
Legislative Reference Bureau shall insist here, in lieu of this
statement, the date that is five years after the effective date
of this subsection), a defendant to which this section is
applicable shall be sentenced at the discretion of the court.
Nothing in this subsection shall affect a sentence made on or
before (the Legislative Reference Bureau shall insist here, in
lieu of this statement, the date that is five years after the
effective date of this subsection).
