AMENDMENTS TO HOUSE BILL NO. 85

Amend Bill, page 2, by inserting between lines 21 and 22
(d) A school entity may, by official action of the governing
authority of the school entity, establish a policy authorizing
or prohibiting excusal from testing under this section for
subsequent school years if:
(1) at least one (1) school year has ended since the
official action of the governing authority of the school entity
authorizing or prohibiting excusal from testing under this
section became effective; and
(2) the governing authority of the school entity takes
official action authorizing or prohibiting excusal from testing
under this section at least ninety (90) calendar days before the
beginning of the school year when the authorization or
prohibition becomes effective.
Amend Bill, page 2, line 22, by striking out "(d)" and
inserting
(e)
