and further providing for participation goal
Amend Bill, page 1, line 9, by inserting after "veteran-
owned"
small
Amend Bill, page 1, lines 10 through 12, by striking out "A
veteran-owned business shall not be required to seek" in line 10
and all of lines 11 and 12 and inserting
A veteran-owned small business shall submit verification of
service-disabled veteran ownership from the United States
Department of Veterans Affairs to the Department of General
Services to be considered a small diverse business.
Section 2. Section 9603 of Title 51 is amended to read:
ยง 9603. Participation goal.
A Statewide annual goal of not less than [3%] 6%
participation by veteran-owned small businesses, including
service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses, is established.
The participation goal shall apply to the total value of all
contracts available to small businesses in each fiscal year.
