Subject: Pennsylvania Game Commission Land Purchase Legislation
 
In the near future, I will be introducing legislation that would allow the Pennsylvania Game Commission to acquire land at a fair and reasonable price.

Currently, the Pennsylvania Game Commission is capped at a purchase price of $400 per acre except in a County of the Second Class. This makes it incredibly difficult for the Commission to acquire land where the values are significantly higher and significantly slows the development of new and expanding State Game Lands.
 
Please join me in supporting this important piece of legislation that will allow the Pennsylvania Game Commission to acquire land at a fair and reasonable price ensuring that access to land for sportsmen and women continues to exist.
