Subject: Fair Reimbursement for Chiropractors
 
In the near future I plan on re-introducing legislation to provide fair reimbursement for chiropractors in the state of Pennsylvania. 

Under current law, chiropractors can be reimbursed by health carriers less than their peers for providing the same treatment or service to their patients. This practice substantially hurts chiropractors and puts their practices at a competitive disadvantage, despite the requirement that they must be licensed to provide treatment.  

This legislation would amend current law to ensure that health carriers cannot in any way treat chiropractors differently than they treat any other licensed provider who performs similar treatments or services to their patients.
