I will be introducing a resolution designating the day of February 11, 2021, as “PA 2-1-1 Day” in Pennsylvania.

For several years, PA 211 has provided high-quality, courteous, and professional service to Pennsylvanians in their most desperate moments of need. Thanks to our investments in this vital database and hotline, every person in the Commonwealth can dial 211 for help locating support for their health and human services needs. In addition to voice services, PA 211 is also available statewide by text and web search 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  

Supported and promoted by local United Ways across the Commonwealth, PA 211 is divided into regions. PA 211 specialists are committed to the six “E’s”, Excellent, Efficient, Everywhere, Everyday, Every Way, Engagement. These highly trained individuals connect people with the information and resources they need to build healthy and safe communities.

Please join me in recognizing PA 211’s significant and essential role by designating February 11, 2021, as 211 day in Pennsylvania.
