Subject: Auditor General Election Complaint Review
 
Due to Pennsylvania Department of State Secretary Kathy Boockvar being involved in litigation, I will be introducing legislation directing a hotline and a website be set up within the Office of the Auditor General where Pennsylvanians can report election fraud allegations as well as questionable practices contrary to the Pennsylvania Election Code.  I feel an impartial audit would be more appropriate at this time to identify any wrongdoing so they can be properly investigated, and so we can identify areas that may need to be addressed legislatively to maintain the integrity of our election process in the future.  The Office of the Auditor General will review these complaints, and if found to be justified, turn the complaint over to appropriate law enforcement.  I hope you will join me in cosponsoring this legislation.
