Subject: Ensuring Distribution of PA Fair Fund Dollars
 
In the near future, I will be introducing a piece of legislation that will ensure that funding from the PA Fair Fund will still be distributed to any otherwise eligible fairs that have to cancel this year's events due to COVID-19.

Many of these hometown fairs rely on this revenue to help fund local nonprofits and volunteer fire departments, and their budgets cannot afford to be further strained.  Many of these entities have had to cancel their fundraisers, which normally are used to purchase equipment and supplies that are critical to the services they offer.
