Subject: Recognizing April 15, 2015 as “Local Government Day” and April 13-18, 2015 as “Local Government Week” in Pennsylvania
 
In the near future, I, along with Senator Eichelberger and Senator Teplitz, will be introducing a resolution recognizing April 15, 2015 as “Local Government Day” and April 13-18, 2015 as “Local Government Week” in the Commonwealth.

From boroughs to cities, townships to villages, Pennsylvania is home to a myriad of local governments. These local governments are the backbone of our Commonwealth and provide vital services and support to our constituents and the people of Pennsylvania on a local level.

I hope you will join me in showing gratitude and appreciation for all of our local governments and the hard working and dedicated individuals that represent and staff them.
