Subject:	Co Sponsorship: Special Occasion Permit

In the near future, I will introduce legislation that would add the Pittsburgh Downtown Community Development Corporation (PDCDC) as an eligible entity for a Special Occasion Permit with the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board. Currently, a nonprofit entity must be included in the Liquor Code, by approved legislation, to become eligible for these types of permits. The PDCDC is a community-based organization that serves Downtown Pittsburgh through residential development, the promotion of the arts and entertainment, and small business assistance. Please join me by signing on to be a co sponsor to this bill which will help PDCDC’s to achieve their goal of making Pittsburgh America’s most vibrant 18-hour city by 2017!
