I plan to introduce a resolution recognizing the week of October 6 through 12, 2013, as “National Newspaper Week” in Pennsylvania.

Please join me in sponsoring this resolution to acknowledge the vital role played by the newspaper industry and to congratulate the Pennsylvania NewsMedia Association and its membership and affiliates for their role in encouraging an active citizenry and an informed public.
