Subject: National Pet Week Resolution
 
In the near future, I plan to introduce a resolution designating the first full week in May, May 6 -10, as “National Pet Week” in Pennsylvania.

National Pet Week is widely celebrated throughout the United States the first full week of May. This year it will be celebrated May 5 - 11. The goals of National Pet Week are to promote responsible pet ownership, celebrate the human-animal bond, and promote public awareness of veterinary medicine.

Please join me in honoring our animal friends who are our constant companions.

Introduced as SR113
