| Subject: | Resolution -- “Pennsylvania Industrial Resource Centers (IRCs) Day” |
| Senator Fontana and I plan to introduce a resolution recognizing March 13, 2013, as “Pennsylvania Industrial Resource Centers (IRCs) Day” in Pennsylvania. There are seven IRCs located strategically throughout the Commonwealth that help small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises respond to changing markets, new technology, and the competitive pressure of the global economy. IRCs play a liaison role between the business community, economic development partners, elected officials, policy-makers and manufacturing leaders to help grow business and create jobs in Pennsylvania. Please join us in recognizing “Pennsylvania Industrial Resource Centers (IRCs) Day” in Pennsylvania, and salute the exemplary contributions IRCs have made to the citizens and businesses of this Commonwealth and extend best wishes for continued leadership and service in the years to come.
