Subject: Municipal Firefighter Education and Training Program
 
In the near future, I plan to re-introduce legislation that would establish the “Municipal Firefighter Education and Training Program." This program would set standards for newly hired firefighters. It would also provide funds to municipalities for education and training programs.



This is a reintroduction of Senate Bill 712 of the previous legislative session. Co-sponsors included: TARTAGLIONE, KASUNIC, STACK, WAUGH, WASHINGTON, FONTANA, SOLOBAY, RAFFERTY AND ERICKSON,
