Subject: School Property Tax Elimination
 

In the near future, I plan to introduce legislation requesting the elimination of school property taxes if certain criteria are met:

An individual shall be exempt from all school real estate taxes if the individual owned his/her homestead for over 20 years and is 90 years of age or older.

This bill was introduced last session as SB 1537 and was co-sponsored by Senators FONTANA , SOLOBAY , BOSCOLA , WAUGH and TARTAGLIONE.
