Subject:	Designate a Portion of Route 11 at the Intersection of W. Main Street and Market Street as Back the Blue Square

It is my intention to introduce legislation that will name a square, at the intersection of W. Main Street and Market Street, in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania as the Back the Blue Square.   Law enforcement officers put themselves in harm’s way each day to protect the residents within their communities. The phrase “Back the Blue” is used to foster a positive climate between law enforcement officers, local communities and businesses. It is my intention to honor all law enforcement officers for their commitment and service.   Please join me in co-sponsoring this legislation.
