Subject: Fichthorn & Marburger Memorial Bridge Co-sponsor Memo
 
In the near future I plan to introduce legislation to honor Samuel & Daniel Fichthorn and Ambrose Marburger by designating a bridge in Lancaster County as the Fichthorn and Marburger Memorial Bridge.

Samuel E. Fichthorn, Daniel E. Fichthorn and Ambrose Marburger were the founders of the F&M Hat Company. In 1912 the F&M Hat Company was incorporated in Denver, PA. The F&M Hat Company was also a pioneer in harnessing steam power for wool felt hat manufacturing.
