Subject: Modernizing the Second Stage Loan Program
 
Too many times businesses in their critical years of development do not have the capital needed to sustain growth and expansion. Pennsylvania’s Second Stage Loan Program can provide this much needed assistance for businesses in life sciences, advanced technology and manufacturing.

My legislation will ensure businesses using the Second Stage Loan Program will create more job opportunities in Pennsylvania. In order to accomplish this, businesses who receive loan guarantees must not only be located in Pennsylvania but continue to conduct business here as well.
 
We must ensure that our residents are seeing the benefits of their tax dollars by encouraging businesses to thrive and grow in this great state. Our economy depends on these businesses operating successfully, and we should provide them the tools to do so.

Please join me in co-sponsoring this legislation that will help provide for a stronger economy and create sustainable jobs by supporting new and innovative Pennsylvania businesses.
