Subject: COVID-19 Emergency Licensee Discount and waiving of minimum purchase
 
In the near future, I plan to introduce legislation to allow for a one year increase in the discount licensees receive when they purchase liquor from the PLCB from the current 10 to 20% and, the minimum amount of purchase will be waived for one year.
 
This 10% increase will allow our bars, taverns and clubs the relief they need during these uncertain times.
