Please join me in co-sponsoring a resolution to designate the month of April 2020, as “Pennsylvania 8-1-1 Safe Digging Month.”

Pennsylvania One Call System provides easy, one-call notification by utilities and contractors about construction and excavation projects that may endanger workers and jeopardize utility lines. Notification promotes safety, reduces underground utility damages, minimizes utility serve interruptions and protects the environment. Pennsylvania One Call System serves more than 100,000 excavators and 3,665 critical infrastructure owners in this Commonwealth.
