Subject: Resolution Declaring March 15-21, 2020 as "National Surveyors Week" in Pennsylvania
 
“National Surveyors Week” was established by the National Society of Professional Surveyors and celebrated since 1984 as an annual event to bring public recognition to the surveying profession and vital services surveyors provide to the advancement and betterment of human welfare. It is an opportunity to recognize the historic contributions of surveying and former surveyors, which include such notable figures as George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, John Adams and Abraham Lincoln. Surveyor skills were vital to the development of our country and the Commonwealth and remain essential today.

I hope you will join me in co-sponsoring this resolution. A copy is attached for your reference.
