Subject: Back to School Weeks in Pennsylvania
 

Nearly two million K-12 students will be returning to school across the Commonwealth this fall. Going back to school is a crucial time for students and families, filled with joy, excitement, nervousness, and sometimes fear of what is next to come. It is our belief that students and their families should be recognized and supported during this stressful time as they prepare for a successful school year.

Please join Representative Bullock and I in introducing this resolution to designate the weeks of August 19th, 2019 to September 6th, 2019 as "Back to School Weeks", to ensure that all students within the Commonwealth begin the 2019-2020 school year on a positive note.
