Subject: RESOLUTION ~ HONORING JOHN PATRICK STANTON
 
In the near future, I plan to introduce a resolution honoring the work of John Patrick Stanton.

Mr. Stanton was not only a humanitarian, activist and founder of the ProLife movement in this Commonwealth ~ but worked with the General Assembly to secure passage of legislation to strengthen Pennsylvania laws regarding abortions.

Furthermore Mr. Stanton organized and led many efforts to provide care and resources to pregnant women in crisis which led to the establishment of Statewide Choose Life license plate program in 2005, which raised tens of thousands of dollars for crisis pregnancy centers in this Commonwealth.

In addition, Mr. Stanton who passed away on January 31, 2014 was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.

Please join me in honoring John Patrick Stanton.
