Subject: National Human Trafficking Resource Center Hotline Signage Requirements
 
In 2018, 127 cases of human trafficking were reported in Pennsylvania. To these victims, timing is critical. Access to a life-saving hotline number may provide the opportunity a victim needs to break free from their captor. We must ensure this information is available where and when it is needed most.

My legislation will provide increased access to this vital information. Posting National Human Trafficking Hotline signage in all restroom stalls, on all mirrors, and by all hand driers and paper towels dispensers will help get life-saving contact numbers into the hands that need them.

We have a duty to protect the citizens of Pennsylvania. Ensuring easy access to human trafficking hotline information is one step in aiding victims in the Commonwealth. Please join me in providing this crucial information.
