| Subject: | International DeMolay Month in Pennsylvania |
| In 2019, the Order of DeMolay will celebrate its 100th anniversary. The Order of DeMolay is a character-building organization of young men from 9 to 21 years of age who are preparing themselves to become better citizens and leaders of tomorrow. DeMolay helps develop those character traits which have strengthened good men of all ages. It has carried out its goals through programs of athletic competition, social activity, civic service and charitable projects. If its famous alumni are any indication, DeMolay has succeeded in instilling the kinds of values that help young men go on to become leaders. Hall of Fame members include President Bill Clinton, Walt Disney, Burl Ives, John Steinbeck and John Wayne. That is why I am introducing a resolution to designate March 2019 as “International DeMolay Month” in Pennsylvania. Please join me in recognizing this organization’s 100-year history of enriching the lives of young men across the U.S. Your consideration and co-sponsorship are appreciated. |
