Subject: Ensuring All Absentee Ballots Are Counted
 
During the midterm election I received complaints from constituents who were concerned that their absentee ballot was not counted. This complaint seemed to be one that was repeated throughout the Commonwealth.

Currently, absentee ballots must be submitted by the Friday before the election before 5 P.M. My bill would allow absentee ballots to be collected up to a week after Election Day.

Please support this common sense fix to our election law to ensure all votes are counted.
