Subject: Increasing Property Tax/Rent Rebate Income Levels
 
In the near future, I plan to re-introduce legislation that will provide the opportunity for more individuals to qualify for a Property Tax/Rent Rebate (PTRR).

My legislation will amend the Taxpayer Relief Act of 2006 by increasing the income limit for property owners qualifying under the program. Specifically, the income limit under my proposal will increase from $35,000 to $40,000. All other eligibility requirements will remain unchanged.

I hope you will join me in providing additional relief to these home owners.
