Subject: Co-sponsorship of Resolution - Medical Marijuana Study
 
In the near future I plan to introduce a resolution asking the Joint State Government Commission (JSGC) to conduct a study on the legal landscape of medical marijuana in the Commonwealth and its effects on the educational and professional advancement of Pennsylvania’s residents. A young high school athlete in Georgia, made national headlines for having his NCAA dreams hampered by a policy that made no exception for medical marijuana. I want to make sure that kind of inconsistency with the law does not happen in Pennsylvania.

Please join me in co-sponsoring this important legislation so we can encourage the Commonwealth adopt or maintain common sense policies regarding medical marijuana and eliminate any opportunity for contradictory policy.
