Subject: Resolution - "Professional Engineers Day" in Pennsylvania
 
In the near future, I plan to introduce a resolution recognizing the observance of Professional Engineers Day. The first licensed professional engineer was Charles Bellamy of Wyoming, and his license was issued on August 8, 1907. Since then, licensure has expanded and professional engineers across our country have made the commitment to protect the public health, safety and welfare. Please join me in recognizing and showing appreciation for our licensed professional engineers as we declare August 1, 2018, “Professional Engineers Day” in Pennsylvania.
