Subject: March 2018 as “American Red Cross Month”
 
I plan to introduce a resolution designating March 2018 as “American Red Cross Month” in Pennsylvania.

In existence since 1900, the Red Cross is a humanitarian organization led by volunteers that provides relief to victims of disasters and helps people prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies. Over 6,000 volunteers statewide donated time and energy to their communities through the Red Cross.

Please join me in co-sponsoring this resolution to recognize the American Red Cross, its employees and its volunteers for their dedication, service and sacrifice to the communities and residents of PA.
