Subject: Barber Services for Charitable Purposes
 
In the near future, I will introduce legislation to amend the Barber Law to allow barber services to be provided at events for charitable purposes. Under current law, cosmetologists are able to donate their services outside of their workplaces, but barbers cannot. My legislation would enable those less fortunate to receive free haircuts from licensed barbers at charitable events.
