The below memo replaces the one sent out on Feb. 3, as the language of the resolution was changed but the intent remains the same. A copy of the resolution is attached.

You will need to add your name again to this memo to remain a cosponsor.

I am planning to introduce a resolution encouraging residents of Pennsylvania to observe "Earth Day" on April 22, 2017. This year marks the 47th celebration of Earth Day, encouraging awareness for environmental concerns. Earth Day events and activities are designed to promote environmentally friendly concepts, such as recycling energy efficiency, utilizing environmentally friendly products and reducing pollution.
