Subject: "Volunteer Youth Athletic Coaches Day"
 

In the near future I plan on introducing a resolution designating June 18, 2016 as “Volunteer Youth Athletic Coaches’ Day” in Pennsylvania. These men and women put in long hours, giving up their nights and weekends to teach various sports to the youth of Pennsylvania and across the country.

Their work doesn’t stop at teaching, the youth sports coaches serve as role models and mentors, sometimes creating relationships that last a lifetime.

I hope you join me by co-sponsoring this resolution as we honor the volunteer youth athletic coaches of Pennsylvania.
