Subject:	Co-Sponsorship of Legislation- Establish a Commission on Italian and American Heritage

Please join me by cosponsoring legislation that will establish a Commission on Italian and Americans Heritage, Culture and Education. The purpose of the Commission is to survey, design, encourage and promote the implementation of Italian and Americans of Italian Heritage cultural and educational programs in this Commonwealth. The Commission will have the responsibility for the coordination of events that will provide appropriate awareness and memorialization of the culture, history, heritage and language of Italians and Americans of Italian Heritage on a regular basis throughout the Commonwealth. The Commission will be housed in the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
