Subject: Resolution for first responders to wildland fire
 
In the near future, I will introduce a resolution recognizing the first responders who safely battled and contained the East Penn Township wildland fire on April 18 and April 19, 2015.

The fire originated in East Penn Township, Carbon County, and spread to 400 acres in Lehigh and Carbon Counties before being suppressed.

This resolution is to acknowledge the individuals who endeavored to control the fire and who did so without injury.
