MEMORANDUM

Posted: May 7, 2015 11:24 AM
From: Representative Thomas P. Murt
To: All House members
Subject: Removing the Word "Recent" from the Definition of Child Abuse

In the near future, I intend to introduce legislation amending Title 23, the Domestic Relations Statute to remove the word “recent” from the definition of child abuse. This would allow for acts of child abuse, no matter how long ago they occurred, to be recognized as such.

Please consider joining me in co-sponsorship of this important legislation.

Introduced as HB1252
