Subject: Teacher Appreciation Month - May 2015
 
Next week, I will be introducing a resolution designating the month of May 2015, as "Teacher Appreciation Month" in Pennsylvania.

The purpose of this resolution is to honor and recognize Pennsylvania’s outstanding teachers. Teachers play a vital role in the lives of the students of our Commonwealth. Teachers are true heroes in our communities, who through their dedication to children work millions of small miracles every day. Furthermore, the vast majority of teachers in the United States are proud to be advocates for children, education, and their profession.

Please join me in sponsoring this resolution to acknowledge the dedicated educators of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
