Subject: Resolution Condemning the Global Persecution of Christians
 
In the near future, I will be introducing a resolution condemning the global persecution of Christians.

According to the United States Department of State, Christians are persecuted in over 60 countries. It has been estimated that 100 million Christians are persecuted each year. My resolution will provide an overview of the various kinds of persecution currently being committed against Christians and encourages world leaders to implement policies that protect the religious liberties of Christians and all other faiths within their borders.

Please join me in bringing attention to this issue and supporting the rights of Christians to practice their sincerely-held religious beliefs regardless of their location on the globe.
