Subject:	Co-Sponsorship of Legislation – Austin M. Harrier Memorial Highway

In the near future, I will introduce legislation to honor Austin M. Harrier. The bill will designate a portion of State Route 153 from segment 80 to segment 310 in Clearfield County as the Austin M. Harrier Memorial Highway. Austin M. Harrier graduated from Clearfield High School in 1930 and graduated from Lock Haven State Teachers College in 1936. He worked as a teacher for 15 years. Mr. Harrier was elected to represent the citizens of the 74th District of the House of Representatives from 1962 through 1974. During his time here, he worked to secure funding for the construction of State Route 153. Please join me in sponsoring this important piece of legislation. Thank you for your consideration.
